Oh, what a night!
On the 11th May 2016, we launched Edition 5 of Switch on to Business and celebrated our First Anniversary.
Fazenda (Exchange Flags, Liverpool) hosted the event, and the evening was jam-packed with celebrations for the new edition, businesses coming together to network and connect, and a huge cake which showcased our fabulous front cover in all its glory, supplied by Cake Factory (www.cakefactory.co.uk). We almost didn’t want to cut it…
What made the evening even more excellent was the attendance of IFB2016, one of our main sponsors of the May edition. Max Steinberg, Chairman of the IFB2016, said a few words about the magazine and of the exciting opportunities the summer will hold for local and international businesses.

Representatives from Northern Vision, Knowsley Hall and Liverpool Girl Geeks were in attendance, along with a strong presence of the members from the Business Development Club and the magazine’s Future Talent Team.
Gary Millar, Liverpool’s Cabinet Member for Business, Enterprise and Investment, came along to the event following his very recent re-election, mingled with the local businesses and enjoyed a piece of the fabulous cake.
He tweeted: “1 year on + 5 editions later, congratulations to the team at @SOTBusiness1 for a fab magazine.” His regular feature, ‘Talking Business’ can be found on page 19.
This edition is content-heavy and filled with the amazing businesses the City Region has to offer. I always wonder how the next edition can get any better, and from the look of Edition 5 I have a huge task ahead!
